Whilst not a focus of my project, I still wanted to allow players to customise features that they would commonly expect to be able to change in conventional games. Primarily this meant adding an FOV slider and more importantly, a Mouse Sensitivity slider.
Pausing the game was easy as I simply had to pause the games time scale, which worked as effectively stopping time completely.
In future I would like to improve the artistic quality of UI elements as they are quite basic at current. And with the time I have left and the work that still needs to be done in other areas, I believe that getting the menu functional is most important currently. The same could be said for other areas of UI in the game such as the inventory system and main menu.
